The Digital Reality Gap framework and the Digital Reality Canvas are released under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license (CC BY-SA 4.0). PageRadar’s brand and its official Scores, Audits, and Radar monitoring are reserved. This page also sets out the terms of use for the site.

The framework and the Canvas are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. You are free to:
- Share:copy and redistribute the framework and Canvas in any medium or format.
- Adapt:remix, transform, and build upon them.
- Do both for any purpose, including commercially:internal use, teaching, workshops, consulting, and client work.
Two conditions
- Attribution:give credit to PageRadar, link to the license, and indicate if you made changes.
- ShareAlike:if you adapt or build upon the material, license your version under the same CC BY-SA 4.0.
How to attribute
When you use the framework or the Canvas, include this credit:

Reserved by PageRadar
The open license covers the framework and the Canvas, not PageRadar’s brand or official products. You are free to build tools on the open method, but the following are reserved and require written permission:
- Issuing “official” Digital Reality Scores or Audits.
- Selling assessments as official PageRadar evaluations.
- Using the names “Digital Reality Score”, “Digital Reality Audit”, or “Digital Reality Radar” for your own tools.
- Using PageRadar verification marks or badges.
- Implying partnership, certification, or endorsement by PageRadar.
Agencies, consultants, educators, and businesses may use, share, and adapt the Digital Reality Gap framework and Digital Reality Canvas under CC BY-SA 4.0, including commercially, as long as they provide attribution and share adaptations under the same license.
“PageRadar”, “Digital Reality Score”, “Digital Reality Audit”, and “Digital Reality Radar” are trademarks or official designations of PageRadar.
The CC BY-SA 4.0 license applies to the Digital Reality Gap framework and Digital Reality Canvas as copyrightable materials. It does not grant permission to use PageRadar’s trademarks, marks, official assessment names, certification marks, software, or official designations in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, certification, or official status.
The official layer
PageRadar issues official Scores and Audits, maintains the rubric, and runs the Digital Reality Radar monitoring, turning the Canvas into a living system of record for how a company is understood, verified, and recommended online. To request an official assessment or discuss commercial use, get in touch.
